Today, we are proud to announce an important step in that journey with the inauguration of our new Office Space, upgraded Quality Lab, and dedicated Design & Development Centre within our existing facility at Gokul Shirgaon MIDC, Kolhapur.

A Journey Built Over 16 Years

Over the past sixteen years, Sumukh Steel Castings has evolved through persistence, learning, and the trust of customers and partners. We have spent years pouring steel, solving engineering challenges, and supplying castings to some of the most demanding OEMs and industries.

As manufacturing requirements evolved, so did customer expectations. Industries today demand tighter dimensional tolerances, complex material grades, RT-level quality standards, faster turnaround times, and highly detailed documentation processes. These requirements are no longer optional; they are essential.

As our customers moved toward higher precision and greater complexity, we recognized the need for our infrastructure and processes to evolve alongside them.

That realization became the foundation for this new development.

The newly inaugurated facility has been designed with a clear objective — to improve collaboration, increase process control, and strengthen engineering capabilities.

Dedicated Office Space

Upgraded Quality Lab  

Quality has always been at the core of our operations. The upgraded in-house laboratory will further strengthen our ability to maintain tighter process controls and improve testing efficiency.

Faster material analysis and quality verification allow us to reduce response time and support more consistent outcomes. In industries where precision matters, early detection and process control can make a significant difference.

This investment enhances our capability to maintain the standards our customers expect while enabling quicker decision-making during production.

Design & Development Centre  

Perhaps one of the most exciting additions is our dedicated Design & Development Centre.

Modern manufacturing increasingly requires collaboration at an earlier stage of product development. Customers are looking for suppliers who can contribute not just during production, but during planning and engineering itself.

This new development cell has been established to support:

• Methoding and process planning

• Simulation-based analysis

• Customer-specific engineering support

• RFQ-stage involvement

• First-off approval processes

The objective is straightforward — identify challenges before the mould is made rather than after production begins.

Early-stage engineering support can reduce risk, improve manufacturability, and help achieve better quality outcomes for customers.
